Banco San Jose joins Brigada Eskwela 2026

As local communities gear up for the opening of another school year, Banco San Jose proudly extended a helping hand to local schools by participating in this year’s Brigada Eskwela 2026.

Understanding that preparing classrooms for returning students is a massive community effort, the bank contributed a modest donation of essential supplies aimed at helping clean and refresh local learning spaces. Rather than a grand gesture, the initiative was a simple act of solidarity with the teachers, parents, and students who form the heart of the community.

Brigada Eskwela has always been fueled by the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, where small efforts from different sectors come together to create a safe, welcoming environment for children.

By adding its own simple contribution to the mix, Banco San Jose reinforces its steady commitment to local education. It serves as a gentle reminder that even the quietest acts of support can help pave a smoother path forward for the next generation.

On March 28, 2026, our Naga and Calabanga branches teamed up to head to Sagrada, Pili, Camarines Sur, for a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Driven by the theme “Kaalamang Pinansyal, Kaagapay sa Buhay: Pamilyang Pilipino, Tungo sa Pag-unlad,” our goal was simple yet powerful: to equip local families with the tools they need for a brighter financial future.

The activity brought together participants of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) for an engaging financial literacy session. Participants gained practical knowledge on budgeting, saving, planning for future needs, and making informed financial decisions. The discussion also highlighted the importance of borrowing from banks regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), which provide safe and reliable financial services, instead of relying on informal lenders. Participants were also introduced to the Bank’s savings and loan products, designed to support individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and communities in achieving their personal and financial goals.

The day wasn’t just about learning; it was about connection! The event wrapped up with a heartwarming gift-giving and food distribution activity, giving us a wonderful opportunity to share laughs, express our gratitude, and bond with the community.

Banco San Jose extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Victor Dimabogti for warmly welcoming the team into the barangay, as well as to the DSWD for its valuable support and coordination in making the initiative possible.

Through activities such as this, Banco San Jose continues to live out its commitment to serve not only as a financial institution, but also as a caring community partner, helping families move forward with confidence, knowledge, and hope for a better future.
